Friday 12th September. Awards Evening for Integrating Life & Faith
Awards for the 2007-2008 Group at St Anne's and St Bernard's, Liverpool
Tuesday 30th September."Caring for God's Creation"
7.30 pm at LACE, Croxteth Drive, Sefton park, Liverpool. L17 1AA with Bishop Declan Lang and Mary Colwell. Mary Colwell spent 20 years making wildlife documentaries at the BBC's Natural History Unit. She works closely with Bishop Declan Lang, the Catholic Church’s Bishop for Environmental Justice, and is the inspiration behind Clifton Cathedral's Sound of Many Waters
OCTOBER
Saturday 4th October, “A Dynamic Peace Message for Now”
10 am - 4 pm.at St Anthony of Padua, Queens Drive, Mossley Hill, L18 8AY. This celebration of the feast of St Francis of Assisi will use Franciscan materials from the West Papuan diocese of Jayapura. The main speaker will be Benny Wenda, the exiled leader of the Free West Papua movement in the UK. This event is organised by the south Liverpool area J&P grouping.

Sunday 19th October. "End the Injustice in Palestine"
Hedy Epstein will talk about her visits to the occupied territories and the critical and humanitarian situation that exists there. Quaker Meeting House, School Lane, Liverpool L1 3BT at 7.30 (refreshments from 6.30)
Hedy came to the UK with the Kindertransport in 1939. She now lives in the USA and devotes her time to promoting peace and justice
