When most people think of travel, or are talking about a holiday, they automatically think of going abroad. However, England and the rest of the United Kingdom have a great deal to offer, and it can work out to be quite cheap to travel around if you know how.

By using a caravan, it is possible to travel to different areas and set up in a park. After that, the car can be used to drive around the local area in order to see the sights.

Caravans need not be expensive and some great quality ones can be purchased second hand. There are many ways to find a used selection of caravans such as on the internet and in specialist magazines, and the prices for used ones can be quite reasonable.

Of course, travel with a caravan can take some getting used to. Some vans will have maximum speeds that they should be towed at and towing one on a windy day can feel at little strange for those people not used to it. Reversing is also something that can take some getting used to!

By travelling around the United Kingdom with a car and caravan, it will really open the country up and you will see things that are normally taken for granted in a different light. From standing stone circles to medieval castles and some of the most beautiful countryside in the world, you do not have to travel thousands of miles to have a great holiday.
